PROCLAIMING the gospel through missions and evangelism.
our motto
Glorifying God by leading and teaching His people, loving others, and sharing His Word.
our STRATEGIES include
WORSHIP
Even though worship cannot be limited to a particular time and place, we will gather regularly as
the Body of Christ in a congregational worship service. We worship God through preaching, teaching, singing, praying and celebrating
the ordinances of baptism and communion. (1 Cor 10:31, Psalm 145:3, Colossians 3:16-17)
DISCIPLESHIP
We provide teaching and training opportunities for all ages with the goal of explaining
the Scriptures and producing mature followers of Christ, who are in turn capable of
telling others the Gospel story. Teaching and training efforts will always
have the Bible at its core. (2 Tim 2:2, Matt 28:20, Rom 12:1-2)
FELLOWSHIP
The local church should not be a place of mere attendance and casual involvement,
but regarded as a family to whom we belong. The Bible calls us members of the body (1 Corinthians 12:12)
with the expectation that we contribute to the body – to be involved with our brothers
and sisters in Christ – for the glory of God. (Acts 2:42, 1 John 1:7)
MINISTRY/SERVICE
The Gospel of John provides an account of Jesus washing His disciples’ feet (John 13:1-20)
giving us an example of service to others and commanding us to follow in His steps. We were saved
that we might now serve. We seek to extend His grace and mercy
to others. (1 Peter 4:8-11, Matthew 20:26-28, 1 Corinthians 15:58)
EVANGELISM/MISSIONS
We multiply the Kingdom of God by spreading the Gospel both locally and afar through
mission outreach and by financially enabling mission programs by cooperating
together with other believers. (Matthew 28:18-20, Rom 10:15, 1 Tim 2:3-4)
